About Danielle
Danielle has over 22 years experience working with pets, and 15 years experience working on farms with animals from all walks of life: sheep, donkeys, cats, chickens, ducks, dogs, exotic birds, pigs, goats, peacocks, tilapia, horses, water buffalo, and so much more! With over 12 years experience in opening and managing veterinary practices and boarding and grooming centers, her adult life has revolved around her love for animals. Her best moments in life are loving animals and her human babies. From a child into adulthood, she has loved every animal she's ever met, (and she's met thousands). There isn't a pet she can pass in the streets or on the beach without saying hello.
It took almost an entire year to acquire her dream property in Haiku, but it is the one that has allowed her to do what she loves... give pets a home away from home, and a place to come play during the day! She's always wanted to build a petopia where she can develop a unique relationship with each pet in an ideal environment. They become a part of her ohana! Some of her favorite things to do are incorporated into her day to day life with the pets. She loves spending time with her family, (two-legged and four-legged), hiking, gardening, swimming, surfing, photography, writing, and a good cuddle.
About Andi
Andi has over 12 years experience working closely with a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, small animals, and aquatics. Her focus for the past 7 years has been on grooming, and she specifically went through grooming training to become a part of the Maui Ohana. Self taught on working with fear-based and aggressive dogs, she has a strong personal belief that all dogs deserve the time and patience to gain their own confidence. She believes that every dog can be taught how to trust another human simply by teaching them that they also can be trusted.
Her most treasured moments in life are those in which she is hiking with her doggy friends in the woods and she's able to witness them truly be free and happy in their own flow of sniffing and jumping over random fallen trees. Andi has a deep internal respect for a language that requires no words, therefore she feels dogs allow the perfect environment for our highest potential to love one another.
